Sunday, August 30th, 2009Kisaan Sun 30th August clock 11.53 Movie:''; Starring: Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Jackie Shroff, Dia Mirza, Nauheed Cyrusi, directed by Punit Sira; Rating: ** 1 / 2 Sohail Khan Khan is the most underrated in the film industry. But Sohail knows his job and he relies on transparency and comic roles in this intense melodrama as "Kisaan. Sohail was once a pretty interesting take on the issue of cheaper Indianness be 'I. .. Proud to an Indian" with the same director . In 'Kisaan', Sohail champions the cause of rural life with a plot that grows Manoj Kumar's' Upkar. It is a promotion, not not fall over patriotism. The hotel is located in Punjab, the story of a withered father (Jackie Shroff, wise enough in the eyes and make-up) and both his son. The older Aman Singh (Arbaaz) goes into the city and finally marries Priya (Dia Mirza) is fortunately not the urban predator-vamp. The other son is a quiet believer Jiggar Singh (Sohail) who, with his father, plowing and not only land but also is crossed racket who dare her way. The site is authentic Punjabi green expanse of the "full Sarson ke khet (field mustard), pumps, and the juice of sugar cane, the film is a harsh climate and be credible. However, there are many minor characters, especially the infamous corrupt caucus, pure caricature. If you the turn of subtlety is a great movie, then "Kisaan" may not be your cup of tea … or should one glass lassi? "Kisaan 'is like a great spiced-up glass of lassi, without cream. It is a shameless celebration of the old melodrama with spoon bones cracking action in the last 30 minutes to ask ourselves whether Manoj Kumar never thought that the struggle to cling to the earth could never leaves so violent and bloody. The main characters seem to live in rural Punjab with a comforting familiarity. The atmosphere leads to an extravagant demonstration of emotion. Management is often straight and letters. The film's charm lies in its ability to use an old cliche, no shaky. But the Punjabi and the remix of the song Mahendra Kapoor heinous "Mere Desh ki Chaiyyan 'get on my nerves. But the Background Music Sanjoy Chowdhary is top notch in its ability to reproduce the emotional graph of the characters. Among the actors Sohail stands tall , often larger than the material given to him.
